The Founder
Rev. Fr. Emmanuel Nwabufo
Rev. Fr. Emmanuel Nwabufo is a Catholic priest of the Catholic Archdiocese of Onitsha, Nigeria. He currently serves in the ICT Department of the Archdiocese, as Manager at Sapientia International Media Centre, IT Coordinator at Shanahan University Onitsha, and and as one of the Associate Rectors of the Basilica of the Most Holy Trinity.
With over eight years of experience in the technology industry, Fr. Emmanuel is also the founder of Goallord Creativity Limited, a digital startup through which he has built over twenty high-end digital products. In 2026, he completed an intensive AI and Software Development bootcamp in Berlin, deepening his expertise at the intersection of faith and technology.
It was through this unique combination of priestly ministry and digital experience that Fr. Emmanuel recognized a pressing need: millions of faithful around the world lack access to the beautiful explanations of the Gospel that are preached in parishes every Sunday. Countless homilies, rich with the voice of the Holy Spirit, are delivered once and then lost.
Relying on the grace of God and drawing from his years of building digital solutions, Fr. Emmanuel founded Homilarium in 2026 to change that. The platform preserves, translates, and makes accessible the Church's preaching tradition, so that these sacred words can reach every corner of the world and help us become better followers of our Lord Jesus Christ.
What Homilarium Solves
Every Sunday, thousands of priests across the world deliver powerful, Spirit-filled homilies. Yet the vast majority of these are heard once and lost forever. Faithful who miss Mass, those in remote areas without a parish, the sick and homebound, immigrants who need the Gospel in their own language, and anyone seeking deeper understanding of the scriptures are left without access.
Homilarium gives priests a dignified space to publish their homilies, reflections, and writings, while giving the faithful one place to discover, read, listen to, and share them.
It tackles real problems. Too many homilies are preached once and lost forever. On Homilarium, they are preserved, archived, and searchable by liturgical season, scripture, and feast day. Language should never be a barrier to the Gospel, so content can be translated into multiple languages, meaning a homily delivered in Italian in Venice can nourish a soul in Lagos or Manila. For the visually impaired, the elderly, or anyone who simply prefers to listen, audio narration makes every homily accessible. The faithful can follow their favorite priests, get notified when new content is published, and encounter voices from around the world they would never have heard otherwise. And while other faith communities have long embraced digital platforms, Catholic preaching has remained scattered and hard to find. Homilarium changes that by providing a dedicated, beautifully crafted home for it.
Built with care under Fr. Emmanuel's direction, Homilarium launches with AI-powered sacred imagery, audio narration, multi-language translation, and full liturgical calendar integration, all in service of the Church's mission in the modern world.
“Every homily carries the voice of the Holy Spirit. When a priest speaks from the pulpit, he speaks not just to those present, but to all who hunger for the Word of God. Homilarium exists to make sure that voice reaches every corner of the world, so that millions can encounter the beauty of the Gospel and grow closer to Christ.”
