1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Homilarium (www.homilarium.org), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the platform. Homilarium is founded and operated by Rev. Fr. Emmanuel Nwabufo.
2. Description of Service
Homilarium is a digital platform for Catholic priests and faithful to publish, discover, and share homilies, hymns, reflections, and other sacred content. The platform provides tools for content creation, translation, community engagement, and spiritual growth.
3. User Accounts
- You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account.
- You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
- You must be at least 13 years old to create an account.
- Priest accounts require verification by an administrator before publishing access is granted.
- You may not create accounts for the purpose of impersonating any person, especially ordained ministers.
4. Content Guidelines
All content published on Homilarium must:
- Be consistent with Catholic teaching and tradition
- Be original or properly attributed
- Not contain hate speech, discrimination, or incitement to violence
- Not contain explicit, obscene, or inappropriate material
- Not infringe on the intellectual property rights of others
- Not contain spam, advertising, or commercial solicitation
We reserve the right to remove any content that violates these guidelines and to suspend or terminate accounts of repeat offenders.
5. Intellectual Property
Content you publish on Homilarium remains your intellectual property. By publishing content, you grant Homilarium a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to display, distribute, and promote your content on the platform and in connection with the platform's services (such as RSS feeds, social sharing, and email notifications).
The Homilarium name, logo, design, and platform code are the property of Homilarium and may not be reproduced without written permission.
6. Donations
Donations made through Homilarium are voluntary contributions to support the platform's mission. Donations are processed securely through Paystack. All donations are non-refundable unless required by applicable law.
7. AI-Generated Content
Homilarium uses artificial intelligence to suggest sacred artwork for homilies. These AI-generated images are provided as suggestions and may be used, modified, or replaced by the publishing priest. Homilarium makes no claim of artistic originality for AI-generated images.
8. Limitation of Liability
Homilarium is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the platform, including but not limited to loss of data, service interruptions, or inaccuracies in content.
9. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account at our discretion if you violate these Terms. You may delete your account at any time by contacting us. Upon termination, your published content may remain on the platform unless you request its removal.
10. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email or a notice on the platform. Your continued use of Homilarium after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
